Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for the launch of the Melanie Jewson Foundation yesterday. The 200 people attending enjoyed a scrumptious afternoon tea in the garden.

The formalities were led by Tim Edwards and included a talk from Gary, Libby Andre and Ashlee about the Foundation; a poem, ‘Dancer of the Light’ written and read by Julie Gainey, a moving talk by Leipakoa Matariki, the CEO of the Vila Central Hospital, about the needs of the hospital and a wonderful talk by the Honorable Richard Marles MP summarising the important work of the Foundation and how it will benefit the relationship between Australia and Vanuatu.

To conclude the proceedings we were treated to a 3 minute promotional video about the work of the Foundation which had been prepared by Andre.

Many thanks to the board and the other helpers who all contributed to make this such an incredibly successful afternoon and evening.
