Since 2012, The MJF has worked with many departments at VCH to provide essential locally requested equipment. We are always seeking to ensure that what we donate can have the best possible impact, so we regularly check in with key stakeholders to ensure their satisfaction with our process and to adjust our approach as needed. We are proud of the work we do, and glad to be able to help the extraordinary work of the people and staff at Vila Central Hospital.

Education

Our partnership with Vila East Primary School (VEPS) has been an extremely positive arrangement for the staff, students and community alike. Since 2014, we have donated books and other resources including readers and a Literacy Benchmarking Kit and have supported the school to take strong ownership of their reading program.

The destruction of Cyclone Harold in 2019 brought much hardship for the people of Sanma Province in Vanuatu’s north and gave The MJF the opportunity to expand its support beyond Port Vila, reinstating early learning resources to 17 cyclone-damaged schools.
