MJF Freight partner Kalgin Global Logistics recently collected a large crate stocked with almost $20,000 worth of medical equipment for the Paediatric and Medical Departments at Vila Central Hospital (VCH).

As always, Kalgin covered our overseas freight and crate costs, a significant contribution to our yearly budget. Thanks to our Memorandum of Understanding with the Vanuatu Ministry of Health we aren't required to pay import duties on donated goods, however all crates still need to be screened by customs officials before they can be delivered. The crate is currently being held by MJF partner organisation Agence Gauchet which kindly manages the customs process for us. We expect it to reach VCH by Christmas.
