Partnering once again with our good friends at Read Pacific, we recently provided 23 numeracy kits to Vanuatu’s Ministry of Education & Training, as part of their gradual replacement of cyclone destroyed resources. The kits arrived in Port Vila earlier in the year and have been distributed to schools and shared between classrooms, positively contributing to the quality of teaching and learning throughout the archipelago.

Combining revenue from last year’s EOFY campaign ‘Learning For Life!’ with our already-budgeted education allocation, we were able to spend just under $28,500 on these excellent kits, with the bill for freight and distribution generously picked up by Read Pacific.

Thank you to all who donated to our 2023 EOFY campaign, those who support the MJF more broadly through regular or one-off donations, and of course Read Pacific, with their generous and invaluable contribution.

Tank yu tumas!
