Deliveries keep rolling in!

Thankfully our freight partner Kalgin Global Logistics is still shipping to Vanuatu and although we've had to adapt our original plans, we're aiming to get a crate on its way in the very near future.

Day after day there’s another knock at the door, another delivery slip to sign, another box or two to pack into storage. Almost $30,000 worth of medical equipment sits, ready to be sorted. We can’t wait to get it all crated up and on its way.

Thankfully our freight partner Kalgin Global Logistics is still shipping to Vanuatu and we have almost everything we need to get the first crate on the truck.

Inevitably, due to COVID-19, our plans have had to be adaptive. We will send one crate in September for the Paediatric and Medical departments. The second, for the ED, we intend to send early next year once Leigh Elton, the emergency nurse who helped us develop the Emergency Essentials project, is back on the ground.

Leigh is a crucial link in the chain, overseeing the implementation of the 50 emergency nursing packs and any related training.
