Following Ashlee and Libby’s visit to Vila East Primary School in October last year, the Principal Mr Haward Mala (pictured) identified an urgent need for culturally appropriate readers that are available from Pearson Education in Australia, for children in the early years of schooling in Vanuatu. Board member Jan Baker then purchased these beautiful readers using Foundation funds and last week they were delivered by the Vila Central Hospital Physiotherapist Leitare Raubani, also pictured.
