2019 has started with the arrival of another crate for Vila Central Hospital (VCH). A successful crate delivery requires a massive team effort. Starting with the list of priorities supplied by VCH, The MJF purchases the required equipment and sources other resources including rehabilitation equipment and linen as required. Pick up and shipment of the crate is provided free of charge by one of our community partners Kalgin Shipping International. Once the crate has arrived at Port Vila, it makes its way from the docks and into customs via another community partner Agence Gauchet. Because of our formal agreement with Vanuatu’s Ministry of Health, the crate gains clearance through customs with a tax exemption. Finally, the crate is delivered to VCH where the contents are distributed to the appropriate wards.
All in all, many people and organisations contribute to the success of these deliveries, and this is all made possible because of your ongoing support. We offer our sincere thanks.
You can target your donation specifically to help us fill our crates.
