After the success of our 2017 Film Night Fundraiser, we are delighted to extend our fundraising programme in 2018. Each month this spring, you have the opportunity to see a superb arthouse film, catch up on all of the foundation’s recent activities and meet like-minded people who care as much about making a difference as you do. Once again we are partnering with Geelong’s only boutique cinema venue – The Pivotonian. We are proud to present three terrific films across three Spring Thursdays – Australian independent feature West of Sunshine (fresh from the Venice Film Festival and MIFF), Lebanese film The Insult (‘Best Foreign Language Film’ Academy Award nominee) and the heartwarming Ladies in Black. Our 2017 Film Night Fundraiser sold out in a matter of days, so get in quick to avoid disappointment. Tickets to the season are $65.00 each. From September 10 you will also be able to purchase tickets to individual films for $25.00 each. The films included in Spring Film are yet to be classified, so please check the classification closer to the release date. Proceeds go toward The Melanie Jewson Foundation’s vital work in Vanuatu. The films will start at 8pm sharp. Arrive from 7:30pm to enjoy a drink and a chat in the foyer.
