MJF Health has continued to deepen our partnerships with the Vanuatu Ministry of Health and Vanuatu National Hospital (VNH), focusing on the urgent equipment needs identified by frontline staff. This most recent crate marks our twelfth shipment of essential medical supplies to Vanuatu.

We’ve been especially pleased to collaborate with Vanuatu’s new biomedical engineer, Mitchell Bourke, currently working within the Vanuatu–Australia Health Partnership. Together with Mitchell and the broader biomedical team, we’ve been able to ensure every item is appropriate for the local context and ready to be used immediately upon arrival.

This delivery includes over AUD $30,000 worth of high-priority medical equipment, selected in direct consultation with the Ministry of Health and VNH. The shipment features:

• Suction machines to support emergency care and surgical procedures
• Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for timely, lifesaving response during cardiac emergencies
• ECG machines for accurate cardiac assessment, diagnosis and ongoing monitoring

All equipment provided is brand new, durable, and shipped with the necessary consumables and accessories to ensure long-term usability.

These tools strengthen the capacity of health workers across Vanuatu and help ensure communities have access to safe, reliable, and responsive healthcare.
